Mission

To enhance and strengthen the Jamaica Plain Centre/South business district to become a vibrant center of commercial and community activities for Jamaica Plain and surrounding communities.

 Objectives

1. To strengthen existing businesses
2. To enhance the business mix by attracting new businesses
3. To improve the appearance of the Centre/South business district
4. To attract customers / people into the Centre/South business district
5. To strengthen the connection between the Jamaica Plain community and the Centre/South business district

 Vision

We envision the Centre/South Business District to be a vibrant and funky, easily accessible, pedestrian friendly commercial district with a clean and attractive streetscape comprised of engaging public spaces and interesting storefronts filled with successful, mostly independent businesses.
